An actionform bean represents requests returned from the browser. Actionform beans populate
HTML forms to display results to end users and to collect data from HTML forms. Validation is
also handled by actionform beans. You can use the New
ActionForm Bean wizardto create actionform beans.
In the ActionForm Bean, Parameter page of the New Struts Action wizard, you can
associate an actionform bean with an action. When you select Use ActionForm Bean, you
can set the following properties:
- ActionForm Bean Name. Specifies the actionform bean that you want to associate with the
current action.
- Input Resource. Specifies the resource associated with the actionform bean.
- Input Action. Specifies the action associated with the actionform bean.
- Scope. Specifies the scope of the actionform bean.
- Attribute. Specifies an optional attribute.
- Validate ActionForm Bean. Specifies whether the IDE should validate the actionform bean.
- Parameter. Specifies an optional parameter.
