The Attributes page of the MIDP Project properties enables you to add, edit,
or delete the
of a MIDlet suite for a
.
You open the Attributes Properties page by choosing File > <active
project
name> Properties. In the Project Properties dialog, select Application
Descriptor Attributes.
If you are setting the properties for a project configuration other than the
default configuration (DefaultConfiguration), you must uncheck
the Use Values from "DefaultConfiguration" checkbox at the top of
the page to customize these options.
The General Attributes table lists the attributes currently contained in the
JAD and JAR manifest files:
Type. A field that cannot be edited, and lists whether
the attribute is:
Required. An attribute required by the MIDP standard.
Optional. An optional attribute that provides information
about the MIDlet suite. This is information that is not required by
MIDP to run the MIDlet.
Custom. A user-defined attribute.
Custom attributes cannot begin with the
prefix Midlet-.
JAD only. A custom attribute stored only in the JAD file.
Manifest only. A custom attribute stored only in the JAR Manifest file.
Forced. An attribute that overrides the value
for
or
version than is shown in the Platform
Properties page.
Name. The name of the attribute.
Only Custom field names can be edited.
Value. The values for each attribute.
To avoid errors in verification:
Make sure all required attributes have a defined value.
Do not begin user-defined attribute keys with MIDlet- or MicroEdition-.
