Subversion: Certificate Verification Dialog Box
See Also
The Subversion Certificate Verification Dialog Box displays when you attempt to connect to
a Subversion repository using the https protocol, and the https server provides a
certificate which has to be either accepted manually or cannot be trusted automatically.
This dialog enables you to accept the certificate permanently or temporarily, or reject it.
- Accept Permanently. Authorization is enabled permanently. When you accept
the certificate, it is stored in the Subversion config directory on your system.
- Accept Temporarily. Authorization is enabled temporarily - i.e., the
the certificate needs to be accepted for each command invoked by NetBeans.
- Reject. Authorization is rejected. If you reject the certificate, you
are denied access to the repository.
The text area provides you with output describing the certificate. Information provided can
vary dependent on the certificate, but common details include:
- Hostname
- Validity dates
- Issuer
- Fingerprint
