New Session Beans for Entity Classes: Entity Classes
See Also
This wizard generates Session EJB Facade classes based on the entity classes that you specify.
In this wizard you choose from the available entity classes in your module.
The IDE then generates a session class with basic access methods and any selected interfaces for each entity class.
You open the wizard by right-clicking the project node and choosing New > Other, selecting the Persistence category and then selecting Session Beans for Entity Classes.
Use this page of the wizard as follows:
- Select any entity classes from the list of available entity classes in the left pane, and click the Add button.
Any referenced entity class are automatically added to the Selected Entity Class list in the right pane.
If an entity class is greyed out, it indicates that it is a referenced entity class.
- If you do not want session bean classes created from referenced entity classes, deselect Include Referenced Classes.
- Click Next to specify the interfaces you want to create and where to save the session bean classes.
