The Live Profiling Results window displays the live results of the running profiling session. You can use the toolbar and popup menus to work with the results displayed in the Live Profiling Results window.
To open the Live Profiling Results window, do one of the following during a profiling session:
The toolbar of the Live Profiling Results window contains the following items:

![]() | Take Snapshot of Collected Results. Click to save the results as snapshot. The unsaved snapshot is opened in the Source Editor. |

You can also click the DrillDown button ( )
to open the DrillDown Window which displays a graphic overview of the information in the
Live Profiling Results window and enables you to explore profiled methods according to
general predefined categories.
You can sort the results by clicking on the respective column header or right-click result entries to choose commands from the popup menu. The results that are displayed and the popup menu items available depend on which of the following profiling tasks is running.
